Point 1. Still heavy showers are recorded with intermittent very heavy to heavy rainfall in Mahabaleshwar Maharashtra. 06 UTC recorded 8.2 mm r/f and 09 UTC 20.1 total fm 0830 ist is 28.3 mm. Offshore trough is very much active with increase in height. Sat shows weak convection but r/f heavy.

INFERENCE IS BASED ON 03 UTC SATELLITE IMAGERIES AND PRODUCTS LOW/MEDIUM CLOUDS ARE SEEN ALL OVER THE COUNTRY EXCEPT WEST RAJASTHAN, N J&K,SOUTH KERALA AND SOUTH TAMILNADU BUT CONVECTION ASSOCIATED WITH THESE CLOUDS IS EITHER WEAK OR MODERATE EXCEPT OVER E M.P.,PARTS OF W U.P. WHERE CONVECTION IS INTENSE.SO, RAINFALL WOULD OCCUR OVER MOST PARTS OF E M.P..,W U.P.,PUNJAB AND G.W.B. AS OBSERVED FROM SAT. IMAGERIES OFF-SHORE TROUGH IS WEAK .POSITION OF TIBETAN HIGH IS AROUND NORMAL.
